Effective January 1, 2025

REGISTRATION FEE:
ALL
students will be charged a registration fee. This fee is a semesterly (August for Fall Semester & January for Spring Semester) payment of $50.00. Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. There will be a $10 late fee added to your account for every week your payment is late. All children that are enrolled during the Spring Semester will be automatically enrolled into our Summer Camp (June & July) with NO REGISTRATION FEE.

DROP PROCEDURE:
PARENTS MUST NOTIFY SAMANTHA HILLMAN-COOK TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS. Only a written notice via email, text message, private message, or hand delivered to our mailbox at your childcare facility will be acceptable. By paying your registration fee, this is securing your child's place for ONE semester (August-December for fall semester or January-May for spring semester.) You are responsible for tuition each month. Tuition isn't prorated for holidays, breaks, closures, or absences. If you would like to drop before the semester is over, there will be a charge for the remainder of the tuition for the semester.

Please note: You are responsible for payment for your child's classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR CHILD ATTENDS ALL CLASSES until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your child or child's school teacher to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification from the parent then that student's account will be charged for the additional 31 days. This charge will be for holding the student's place. If you DO NOT let Samantha Hillman-Cook know via written notice that your child needs to be dropped before the first day of the new semester (August 1st or January 1st,) your child will automatically be reregistered for the next semester and there will be NO refunds issued. There will be NO refunds or credits issued for holidays, breaks, closures, or absences from CGA Tumble Cubs. There will be NO make up classes for students who are absent. If your child is removed from the program by Samantha Hillman-Cook due to behavior, you will be responsible for payment for the remainder of the semester.

HOLIDAY CLOSURES/BREAKS:
We will send out an email with the holiday closures/breaks calendar at the beginning of each semester and a newsletter at the beginning of each month for a reminder. CGA Tumble Cubs goes off of the Ouachita Parish Public School Calendar.

BEHAVIOR POLICY:
At CGA Tumble Cubs, our goal is to maintain a safe and orderly environment in which your child can learn. Therefore, we place a great emphasis on encouraging appropriate behavior of children to help them develop self-control, self-confidence, and self-discipline. An effort is made to help children understand why some behaviors are not acceptable, and suggestions for more desirable behaviors are offered. Activity participation rules for children are as follows:

  • Be safe by keeping your hands, feet, and objects to yourself

  • Be respectful and kind to others

  • Be responsible for yourself and your play area

  • Stay within the group’s designated space

To ensure the safety of all participants and staff, CGA Tumble Cubs staff will implement a positive discipline program. Children involved in our program are expected to follow the rules and direction of the staff. The following are guidelines used when disciplinary action becomes necessary due to unacceptable behavior. Severe behavior will be addressed by the Owner.

  • Positive redirection

  • Verbal warning for specific unacceptable behavior.

  • Separation from group with a warning of future consequences for repeated behavior.

  • Removal from the bus with a call to a parent/guardian.

  • Repeated aggressive/inappropriate behavior with being removed from the bus 3 times will result in removal from the program.

CGA Tumble Cubs reserves the rights to withdraw a participant from the program if all discipline options have been exhausted and/or demonstration of extreme behavior that may put participants and staff in danger.
